I've worked with more than 500 couples on their weddings, and hundreds more on portrait and family photo sessions.

I feel that the photography industry places to much weight on 'perfect moments' and not on the actual work that goes into a marriage and relationships.

I put this project together to celebrate love and marriage and to raise awareness that a good marriage is more than just a 'perfect' wedding day!

Casey Fatchett's work has appeared in numerous publications including New York Magazine, The New York Times, The Knot Magazine, Bridal Guide, and many more. He is also a seven time winner of The Knot's "Best of Weddings Award" as well as numerous other industry accolades.

Be a part of the project!

A few quick odds and ends for your information:

  • I’m only taking one couple per ‘year’ of marriage. So, if you already see your year posted, that means that most likely you won’t be part of the project. I can put you on a ‘wait list’ in case I have to reshoot a year for some reason, but I will let you know if that happens.
  • There are also years I have already shot that are not posted yet, so please be understanding if your year is already taken.
  • The shoot is half an hour, that’s all the time you get for free. If you’d like to pay for a longer session, let me know.
  • If you miss your session and don’t let me know or don’t have a good reason why, I will move on to the next couple in line for your year.
  • Shoots are done in the style that is seen here on the site (black and white backdrops, studio lighting). If you don’t want photos in that style, I won’t be accommodating special requests. I want the series to have a cohesive ‘look’.
  • If you’d like a different type of shoot, please just contact me about doing a session for you.
  • If you’d just like professional photos taken of you and/or your family, you can contact me about doing a session for you. It doesn’t have to be for the project.
