Welcome to The Marriage Project!

Let's celebrate love!

I've photographed over 500 weddings, but I often find working in the wedding industry that we vendors find ourselves concentrating on the 'day of the wedding' and not as much on the marriage that follows.

There's a lot more to marriage than just your wedding day! It's a long journey and life takes many twists and turns.

I wanted to see what couples who had been married for different lengths of time had to say about love, marriage, family, and just sharing their stories.

So, I have decided to give away 50 free half hour portrait sessions to married couples. I will be sharing the photos and stories I collect here as well as any future news about the project.

Watch the video below, and if you're interested in taking part in the project, you can find information towardsty the bottom of the page.

The Marriage Project

50 Years of Marriage

Listen to the stories, see the photos, and realize there is a lot more to marriage than most people in the wedding industry talk about...

One Session For Each Year

I am giving one session for each year of marriage. So, a free session to a couple who has been married for one year, another to a couple who has been married for two years, and so forth. If your year is taken, then, unfortunately, I will not be accepting additional sessions for that year at this time. I may keep you on a waiting list in case I want to do another session for that year, but there is no assurance that you will get a shoot.

What do you get?

You get a free 25 minute photo session with me. You get high resolution digital files of all your edited photos to do with as you please - you can make your own prints, share to social media, etc. and a coupon to order free prints.

What I will need from you!

You will be required to fill out a short questionnaire and answer a few questions about yourself before I will schedule your session. You will also be required to sign a release form at the shoot. If you don't want to fill out a questionnaire or sign the release, please don't apply.
